ALL IS WELL – DO NOT WORRY (PART 2 OF 2)
22nd MAY 2021
“Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments – Deuteronomy 7:9Fear is a major setback that we must overcome, especially if we desire to have a long life. We are constantly afraid of what will happen to us if our expectations do not come through. It is not right to worry about tomorrow, which has not yet come. When we do that, we rob ourselves of the joy of the moment. Make a habit of living in the NOW. Jesus says, tomorrow will take care of itself (Matthew 6:34). This is because tomorrow is NOT certain. It is not real; it has not yet arrived; it is forming, but not yet certain. Tomorrow can always change to what you want it to be through prayers, positive expectations, and affirmations. In fact, the future is non – existent. WHAT IS REAL IS NOW! After all, you can feel and see what is happening now. However, I am not dispensing with planning for the future. But you must understand that there is a difference between STRATEGIC PLANNING and living with fears. In strategic planning, we are simply laying the building blocks for a better prospect. In doing that, our mind is fixed on success, especially if we are planning with multiple options. On the other hand, when we worry about tomorrow, we are not truly planning, but our mind is ALREADY fixed on a negative future outcome. This is wrong! That means that we already concluded in our mind that something not too good would happen on a particular day in the future. Unfortunately, what we have succeeded in doing, is to project into the future what does not exist originally tactically, and we now begin to fear “in advance” even before getting to that day. While we are thinking about the day that has not yet come, we inadvertently dislodge ourselves from the opportunities and the joy of the moment. When we are afraid today of what the future holds for us, we are indirectly creating a negative condition that will eventually take form on a particular day in the future.
The practical approach to life is to live in the NOW while holding a positive thought about the future. Master Jesus says, do not be afraid, and do not worry about tomorrow; let tomorrow take care of itself. It is natural for us to worry about the future, but we must quickly control our emotions when it drifts too far to creating a vulnerable future for us. If your thoughts are not controlled, they would definitely take form and manifest someday (Proverbs 23:7)On the contrary,, however, to be cautious about a situation is not an expression of fear. Rather, this is an aspect of basic fear, and you must learn to be cautious so you do not make irreversible mistakes. But illogical fear and distrust of life and people are not from God, even though it seems hard-wired into our mind (2 Tim. 1: 7) To pray concerning our future success is NOT an expression of fear. Rather, you are simply committing your desires into God’s hands WITH FAITH THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED ALREADY WHATEVER THAT YOU SEEK. THEREFORE, WHEN YOU PRAY, BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED IT ALREADY, NOT THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE IT IN THE FUTURE! The best way to live is to CONSTANTLY have faith that your future is already established and, therefore, nothing to worry about! Closely related to that is always to enjoy the moment and forget about the failings of the past. If you must recall the past, only recall such aspects of the past that you enjoyed so much, such joy as you may experience again and again. Otherwise, bury the negative past. Each waking day has its own gifts and blessings, which you must be ready to receive from our heavenly Father! What are your fears, suffocating bills? Ill-health? Love? Children not doing well? Whatever they are, God is bigger! Take a deep breath when you exhale, breathe out and release all your fears, worries and past regrets. Have faith that you have everything you desire NOW! Feel the joy of fulfilment and be happy with thanksgiving! Therefore, anytime you are planning your strategies for solving any problem, BELIEVE THAT EVERY OF YOUR PLAN IS GREAT AND PERFECT and see yourself reaping the fruits of your strategic planning. Remember, no more fear. Remain positive. Jesus Christ is Lord!PRAYER
