SOW A SEED OF BLESSING TODAY

“Give and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full–pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” – Luke 6:38

God loves a cheerful giver! To be cheerful in giving is to give without grudges or complaints. Giving is a sacrifice made for those in need.  When you give to the needy, God pays you back on their behalf because they are not capable of paying back by themselves. Why is it necessary to give? We give to serve the purpose of God in the lives of others who are in need of God’s favour. When God answers the prayers of those in need, he selects you to help those persons. To give to the needy is to sow in God’s vineyard. At harvest time, you reap for yourself here on earth, in multiples times, what you gave to others.  Bless others today with your kind words, community service, donations, sharing food and other basic things.

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, today I receive the strength to give willingly and cheerfully to others. Behold, I have become a source of blessing to others in my community and my generation at large.  All I give shall bring joy and hope to all. As a source, I shall never run dry of resources and abundance for my roots is firmly planted in your limitless Grace and abundance. Amen
