ALL IS GOOD!

“’ For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
God’s divine agenda for all humans is that we should be at peace, prosperous and healthy. There is no doubt that we face various upheavals in a life time, such as terrorist attacks, accidents or natural disasters such as earth and sea quakes destroying lives and properties, or as in recent times, the advent of killer diseases such as Coronavirus. With all these things happening almost at the same time across the world, there seems to be no hiding place this time around for humanity. But I must let you know that the goodness of God surpasses all these upheavals! The Scripture tells us that God’s creation is not wasted (Isaiah 45:18) For this reason, God will continue to reign supreme everywhere simply because His spirit and life are the reason why all things exist. By His Spirit, therefore, we create our desires (Zechariah 4:6). Jeremiah 29:11, also reminds us today that God’s divine agenda for us remains in spite of these upheavals that we currently experience, whether as individuals or as a nation. Jeremiah 29 was written to the Jews in exile, a group of people who were only seeing the low points of God’s plan. Jeremiah reminded them, however, that God is always watching over His people. But, you may ask yourself today, how can anyone be saved in the world of today? I can only say that God is greater than all these problems. The fastest means of achieving victory is to SEE THE GOOD IN ALL THINGS! The Scripture tells us that God was happy with ALL the things He created, for He saw them all as good (Genesis 1:31)
One major reason you may not see the goodness of God in the things around you is due to the presence of what I may call “The dark veil of evil, fear, doubts and obscurity” cast upon all things by our lower emotions caused by negative manipulations. There is no doubt that these things have become a formidable obstacle against your views and perception of the truth regarding the things that you feel and see around you. While it is true that on the surface, evil and insecurity may seem to thrive, the fact remains that behind this whole evil drama lies the goodness of God which we can only behold when we remove the veil of evil that surrounds us. To remove the evil that pervades your surroundings, you must uphold your heritage in God. The greatest heritage you have is; “you being an image of God”. Therefore, as an image of God, cut out to be like God and to reason like Him, you also have to see the good in all the things around you the way God saw them when He first created them! Therefore, tell yourself today; “everything around me is great and good”! Feel the warmth of peace, and the goodness of God flowing through the entire fibers of your body as you make this declaration several times to yourself. God believed that everything He created was good, therefore, you too must believe in your heart that everything around you is great and good!
A surer key that removes all obstacles is LOVE! One thing that has continuously defy our understanding as Christians is the power of love. Love is a divine converter, which converts every contrary and opposing force back to the nature of God for good! For instance, when we deserved to die having sinned against God, the power of love, streaming forth from the heart of God, converted humanity from poor wretched sinners to become the heirs of His kingdom. This means that God saw a reflection of Himself in us! He saw a reflection of the good He created us to be! Everything God created is good, including you and me! When God saw the good in us, He loved us and then forgave us completely. It is true that the evil in men has done greater harm to our world, and insecurity seems to be the order of the day in most parts of the world. Still, do not despair. Your first step is to covert the evil around you to good. How you do that is to use the POWER OF LOVE! From this moment onward, simply allow love to rise to the surface of your heart, and then pour forth your love onto ALL THINGS AROUND YOU! By so doing, you will neutralize the veil of evil covering your surroundings. When you do that, the goodness of God in all things will then appear! This, of course, means that you have to bury every hatred and doubt in your mind. Hatred in whatever form weakens our power to manifest things. The Spirit of God dwells with us only if we allow love to rise up in our hearts.
PRAYERS
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that love dwells in my heart this minute. All that I see is your goodness. Therefore, I shall witness only good. I decree that all is well with me. AMEN.
