THE HOLY BLOOD (PART 2)
THE HOLY BLOOD (PART 2)
1st and 2nd APRIL 2021
“Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? – 1 Corinthians 10:16
We learned that the Cup of blessing and thanksgiving of the Holy Communion is the Cup of salvation that redeems and restores the broken and the sick; This is the grace and the love of God that restores balance to the world, especially during this period of plagues, pandemics and other afflictions.
Jesus says we must drink of His blood and eat of his flesh in memory of Him. As we do this today and always, we are renewed, healed and made whole again. Also, wherever, the cup of blessing, the HOLY BLOOD of Christ is raised, the whole of nature is renewed with a new life and spirit of God. As believers, therefore, we are called today to partake of the Holy Communion. When we take the Holy Communion, we are partaking of the very spirit of God, the life of God – the ETERNAL WORD OF GOD which created the whole world, and who also became Jesus Christ.
The shedding of the holy blood of Christ, therefore, heralded the redemption of man and the renewal of nature. Without the shedding of blood, nature and humanity will perish. God, the father knows that it is only by His WORD – His LIFE – HIS HOLY BLOOD, that humanity can truly be preserved, saved, and kept perpetually alive. And so, He made His WORD – His life and creative essence to become Jesus Christ, so He could actualize this significant blessing to the world. The word of God today reveals to us the power and blessing of the Holy Communion. Are you ready to partake of the holy blood; the very LIFE, and the WORD of God, and to experience a total transformation?
The benefits of your decision are tremendous; What the holy blood does for us are:
1. It remits sins (Matt. 26:28).
2. It gives life to those who consume it (John 6:53).
3. It causes us to dwell in Christ, as He in us (John 6:56).
4. It is the means by which Jesus purchased the church (Acts 20:28).
5. It is the means by which Jesus becomes our atonement through faith (Rom. 3:25).
6. It justifies us and saves us from wrath (Rom. 5:9).
7. It redeems us (Eph. 1:7; 1 Pet. 1:18-19; Rev. 5:9).
8. It brings those who were far away from God near to Him (Eph. 2:13).
9. It grants us the forgiveness of sins (Col. 1:14).
10. It brings peace and reconciliation to God (Col. 1:20)
Today, we join Jesus on the throne of mercy; The one who restores life and preserves all things; The only one true advocate between God and man; The one who first raised the Cup of salvation and redemption to a broken world. In return, we receive perfect healing for a world afflicted by disease and uncertainty; we are blessed and healed inside out. As we move towards Easter, therefore, Jesus calls us to hold onto the HOLY BLOOD for our wellbeing and for the healing of the whole world!
PRAYER
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, today, I raise up the Cup of salvation to a broken world, and I decree and declare that all things have become new again. Father, by the blood of Jesus Christ, we are healed and completely restored by thy grace. Thank you, father, AMEN.
