YOUR TIME OF DIVINE VISITATION IS HERE! (PART 1 OF 2)

YOUR TIME OF DIVINE VISITATION IS HERE! (PART 1 OF 2)

25th AUGUST 2021

“Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, for He has visited and redeemed His people…the Dayspring from on high has visited us” (Luke 1:68,78)

A few months ago, a friend called me to inquire if I was safe in the midst of a peaceful protest, which turned violent leading to major upheavals in most cities of Nigeria. The youths of that country started a peaceful protest a few days ago against what they considered abnormalities in the governance of the country. What started as a peaceful protest suddenly turned violent, leading to mayhem, destruction of lives and properties, especially those of the innocent people of the country. What has come out clearly from the protest is the fact that the country is in for major changes and restructuring.

Why now? Some analysts have queried! The country had barely survived the negative impact of COVID – 19 Pandemics, and now, mayhem all over the country?

At some points in nations’ history and human lives, some things are bound to redefine the status quo or usher in a new beginning. The mystery of life is that some things are bound to happen for a change, small or great, to occur in a nation or a person’s life. For there to be a new dispensation, the old must give way! Changes are usually not easy to bring about. After all, the New Testament was instituted by the blood of the master himself!

Although some agitations may be wrong, the resultant effects will turn out good and beneficial for the children of God who deserve a great change in their lives. Therefore, at every appointed time, God will listen to the cry of His people and especially visit them. When the Lord visits His people, He brings them an unprecedented change! When God visits, supernatural breakthroughs occur. Prophetic words are fulfilled, seasons are shifted, and new things are brought to birth. Jesus gets the glory! Therefore, this is a time of expectations for the people of God, not just in Nigeria, but the world over! Very soon, we will witness some unprecedented changes across the world!

After Covid – 19, the Lord is set to visit His people especially. All over the world. God is set to visit His people especially, bringing forth certain great unprecedented changes for them. Today’s word reminds us of God’s ultimate visitation in giving to humankind Jesus Christ – our redeemer. Jesus declares a life of abundance onto the world. Therefore, in the days to come, there will be divine visitation in the life of God’s people. This is the time to position yourselves to receive from God by Faith. The Scriptures tell us that God’s visitation brings the following changes:

·        Fulfilment of prophecy and removal of barrenness. ‘And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken.’ (Gen 21:1). A visitation of God broke the long season of barrenness in Sarah’s life, resulting in fulfilment of prophecy and the birth of Isaac, whose name meant ‘laughter.’

·         Deliverance from bondage: A visitation of God broke the long season of Israel’s bondage in Egypt. They realised God had not left them alone in their suffering but was intimately concerned for them. His power was about to be revealed. (Exodus 4:31)

·        Divine Help: A visitation of God broke a long season of famine in Bethlehem, Judah. (Ruth 1:6) That Visitation had a chain reaction! The testimony of God’s goodness reached a grieving widow called Naomi, who was living in Moab. She moved to that place of visitation, and God restored her inheritance and family line.

·        Restoration of Inheritance and Homecoming (Jeremiah 29:10). A visitation of God broke the long season of Judah’s exile, and they returned to Jerusalem at His appointed time.

As we gradually pull through the negative effects of COVID – 19, as well as violent protests in Nigeria, be rest assured that God is repositioning you for greater victory from this moment onward. Be prepared therefore to receive from God, by faith today! Remain safe, be law-abiding and prayerfully attuned to the guidance of the holy spirit as you wait for the visitation of the Lord!

PRAYER

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your divine visitation upon me this day. Grant me your power to accept your coming and let the joy of your salvation ring in my soul. Father, to this day, I had waited anxiously to receive from you. Therefore, I was hoping you could grant me the worthiness to accept your glory as it shines on me from this day onward. I receive you totally today, and I am completely restored. AMEN.
