Empowered by the Holy Spirit, Peter steps forward and delivers a powerful sermon. He boldly proclaims the message of Jesus’ death and resurrection, and thousands are moved to repentance and baptism. This marks the birth of the early church. As Peter speaks, the Holy Spirit convicts hearts. People fall under the power of God’s word, and their lives are forever changed.

BENEFIT: The resurrection power of Jesus opens hearts to the message of salvation. Through the Holy Spirit, even the most hardened hearts can be softened and transformed.
