Holy Sanctuary Mission is a Faith Community, NOT a church. It was founded by Mary Lawrence – Dokpesi in 2014 as a healing, evangelical and a humanitarian ministry. Although ordained a Chaplain since 2003, Mary has been in the healing and humanitarian ministry since the past two decades. During moments spent with very sick people as well as those without means of sustenance, Mary discovered that the eternal word of God is present in all human beings and in all things.
This divine energy, which is truly God can be activated through prayers and meditation to create miracles no matter what problem we are facing. The eternal word of God is the reason for our life- our health and sustenance.
Our mission is to demonstrate the power of the ETERNAL WORD OF GOD through CHARITY, HEALING AND EVANGELISM. In doing this, we are guided by the Holy Spirit, the teacher of complete truth (John 16:13) which strengthens us to follow the footsteps of Jesus Christ in charity and healing services, in order to serve the greatest need of humanity so they can experience the kingdom of God HERE on earth, when we are still alive and in the HEREAFTER when we pass through transition (Luke 17:20-21).
We envision a new world order where every man will know God directly, have access to basic necessities of life, live a happy and fulfilled life, and also assume the responsibility of doing the will of God here on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:9-13; Jeremiah 31:31-34).
Holy Sanctuary Mission is NOT a church, it is a faith based Community founded in order to address the growing needs of people to understand God, Spirit, Spiritualism, life and death, Jesus Christ, and the Bible in a more practical and working manner. It is also founded as a humanitarian and a healing ministry; not as a religion, in itself, but, rather, as a means whereby all religions and faiths could find a common ground, in God as Spirit and in ourselves.
Holy Sanctuary Mission is basically a healing, evangelistical and Community Service Ministry. We conduct healing for the body and the mind. No ailment or situation can withstand the power of Christ in us.
Prayer & meditation are, if not the most powerful process in the world to heal, enrich, & uplift our lives. When we make conscious contact with God through HIS ETERNAL WORD, asking for help, miracles happen.
We have to translate “loving God” to loving our fellow human beings. We are called to a life of perpetual service. “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” which is the second greatest commandment in the law.
The revelation of the ETERNAL WORD is the most precious thing that has happened in this age and we are grateful to God for being counted worthy to share with other people of faith.
It is difficult for many to demonstrate the gift of faith majorly because they still cannot understand the relationship between God and Man. Man is an expression of God, expressing the divine principles and essences of God.
At Holy Sanctuary Mission, we organize praise concerts as part of our weekly and annual retreats. During worships, Hymns and Psalms are also rendered to uplift the spirit (Colossians 3:16; psalms 95:1-2)
We share together scriptural texts of the Holy Bible and theology, teachings of renounced men of God throughout history of humanity, ancient philosophies and teachings of the world, origin and growth of religions.
As an extension of our individual families, we recognize that ALL are Part of God’s Family. Therefore, members learn to live together in a community, unselfishly serving the needs of one another just like God would do for us.
